Executive Sessions for CEOs, CIOs & CISOs

IT and cyber security is a relatively new and evolving area. The potential for poor IT security to affect the economy and the delivery of essential services to the wider community may not be as widely understood among senior executives as perhaps it should be.

In the face of increasing cyber threat to SCADA and other industrial control systems, the Australian Government has organised a series of Executive Sessions (approximately one hour sessions) for CEOs, CIOs, CISOs and other senior executives who control business operations with dependencies on these systems.

What you will learn from these sessions

  • The extent of interdependencies between critical infrastructure and service delivery;
  • How the threat to industrial control systems is constantly changing;
  • International responses to these changes in threat;
  • Australian Government initiatives in the area of cyber security threats to industrial control systems; and
  • The Government and industry resources available to help protect critical infrastructure, business and service delivery in the face of cyber security threats.
