Registered Broadband Connect Providers
Important notice
The Prime Minister and the Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts announced the Australian Broadband Guarantee on 7 March 2007. From April 2007, the Australian Broadband Guarantee will replace the Broadband Connect Incentive program and the Metropolitan Broadband Connect program. Read more about the Australian Broadband Guarantee.
Below is a list of Broadband Connect Providers, in alphabetical order, which have been registered under the program and have deeds executed with the Department for 2006-07. All Broadband Connect providers must offer at least one 'threshold' service that must meet or exceed specific standards including minimum speeds and usage allowances, and be offered at or below maximum price limits. Providers must also offer at least one 'added value' services which provides additional functionality or features over and above those required for threshold services. As more providers are being registered and services are continually being updated in response to competition, DCITA recommends that prospective customers compare providers' Broadband Connect plans by contacting the providers directly and/or checking their websites.
