Review of Australia's Symphony and Pit Orchestras

On 28 May 2004, the Minister for the Arts and Sport announced the Review of Australia's Symphony and Pit Orchestras, chaired by Mr James Strong.

The Review Panel called for submissions from key stakeholders in early June. Submissions are due by 9 July 2004. The Panel will be conducting consultations with orchestras, State and Territory Governments and other stakeholders in each capital city in late July and throughout August. The Review will report by the end of the year
