The National Broadband Strategy Programs

Three major funding programs form part of the Australian Government's contribution to the Action Plan for the National Broadband Strategy.

A major emphasis of the funding programs is to provide access to affordable broadband services in regional Australia. Sectors being targeted for broadband development include government services, the community, health and education. 

Australian Government Broadband Programs:

• Coordinated Communications Infrastructure Fund (CCIF)
• Demand Aggregation Broker Program
• Higher Bandwidth Incentive Scheme (HiBIS)
