Payphones in remote Indigenous communities
The Department is working with Telstra, as the Universal Service Provider, and the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) on ways to improve access to payphones for Indigenous communities.
If you have questions regarding the supply, installation and repair of payphones in your community, contact Telstra on free call 18 02244 or visit the Telstra website for information on the supply and installation of Telstra payphones.
